This love is one that doesn’t ignore a person’s flaws, but rather embraces a flawed person.

You have a lot in common with the created world, and God himself.

God isn’t your overbearing boss, but he’s still the one in charge of the whole operation.

God doesn’t rescue you out of obligation, compulsion, or duty. He does it because he delights in you.

There, from the mouth of the suffering savior, are the sweet words of mercy for any misfit, oddball, screw-up, phony, has-been, poseur, or faker.

God offers you total forgiveness – a clean slate – and a new life, yet sin and filth are waiting like a bird in the shade tree you just parked beneath.

God watched over events in the past too tumultuous to bear. He’s watching over a present age too vast to comprehend. And he’s watching over a future too unpredictable to anticipate.

Jesus didn’t live a perfectly correct life by humankind’s standards. He lived a perfectly Godly life to show the inadequacy of humankind’s standards.

The need for God’s presence in your life cannot be satisfied by anything else because it wasn’t designed to accept anything else.

Any role you’ve had in serving God has built off of the work of someone else.

If a reminder of the eternal, omniscient and omnipresent attributes of the Creator God doesn’t change your perspective, nothing will.

The war is over, the victory is won. All because the Redeemer lives!

If worry lurks in your heart, the answer should be something felt in the heart – not known in the head.

As Christ-followers, it should be our responsibility above anyone else’s to be more concerned than anyone else about the impact we have on God’s Creation.

A person doesn’t have to know God’s plan to have peace. They only have to know God.

Hope is beautiful and admirable until it becomes expectation.
